The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, demons, and sinister influences growing in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear mismatched, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the team access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This results in them few options but to travel to the remote area in search of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the combat party will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can anticipate learning which characters will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
